I wanted to create a new background image for my YouTube channel and an avvy for the SRK forums but I really didn't dedicate any time to that. I remembered that I have another video capture device in my closet so I fished it out. It just took a few days to find the right drivers and software for it. This cut into my design time.
With this new set up there's some ups and downs to it. The capture resolution is higher than that I was previously using. It doesn't seem such a big deal but watching the raw vid caps and it was extremely impressive. Somewhere between the raw vid and rendering the final product, I lost something. In the raw vids, nothing looks flat. That's the best way i could put it. All the depth and detail in the 3d models are all present in the raw captures but don't transfer over. It might be the contrast and brightness that mask the detail but I have to tinker with it before I get it right.
So far, post production quality and the time it takes to render the finished video are my only gripes right now. I have less wires running every which way and I could capture more clips almost instantly. I was able to record 11 videos today. All but the last one weren't up to par for viewing. More on that later. Editing is so much easier and I haven't really looked into all that i could do within the program.
Moving right along to the match posted above.
All week, I haven't played but I watched new vids people would post up. For the most part it was pretty impressive in terms how much progress the online community has grown in skill. So earlier this afternoon, I tested the waters. I said I captured 11 matches. Most of them were heavily one-sided in my favor. I think one or two suffered from major lag issues... I might post them just for demonstration purposes.
So this DR●PEACE was close to me in BP hence why I posted it. I don't have anything against him or anything... I just needed to post something.
